Used cooking oil being poured

At your kitchen

On each visit the driver checks your containers, measures the volume and takes a photo before pumping or swapping them. The time and position of the pickup are recorded by our system, and you receive a receipt with the litres and the amount.

On the route

Your oil travels with other kitchens' oil on a planned route. Routes are optimised so the truck drives fewer kilometres per litre collected.

At the collection point

The oil is unloaded, settled and filtered. Water and solid particles are separated so the oil can be handled as a clean raw material.

Recycling into renewable fuel

Filtered used cooking oil is a recognised feedstock for biodiesel and other renewable fuels. Turning waste oil into fuel gives it a second life instead of sending it to drains or landfill.

Every SellMyOil pickup is photographed, timed and recorded, so you always know what left your kitchen and where it went.

Why traceability matters

Recyclers and their customers increasingly ask where their feedstock comes from. Recording each pickup with photos, times and volumes creates a clear chain from your kitchen onwards.

For you, it means a written record of where your oil went, useful for audits, inspections and sustainability reports.

What you can see in your account
